Has anyone noticed that they have boarded up the original line entrance with a blue wall? We walked over there and saw new signs by the other entrance, including a big new one with the Disaster transport logo on it.(2009 is apparently the year of new signs for rides, but no one said anything about DT's new sign!) Anyway, I was just wondering about it and am curious about what they are closing it for.
Wait, so instead of using the main entrance: http://pointbuzz.com/Photos/Photo.aspx?id=380 they are using the side entrance that they use for HW? Weird. I'll see tomorrow.

That is correct. I found it really weird too. Especially since if you get stuck outside at the beginning of your wait there are a lot of bugs.

Hoping to one day build these great machines that we affectionatly call "Coasters"
Well, it matches the ride's look, with a blue background and orange lettering with arrows at the bottom of the sign pointing to the line area. It has lights that shine on the sign at night, so it looks good, but just typical of DT would have.....nothing exciting.
The employee manning the enterance said that they didnt remove the Haunt stuff from the first room.
Im hopeing this is a sign that they are either redoing or plussing the Haunt for this fall.
Anyone got a pic of the switched entrance?

^ The only part that you have to wait in is the one where it looks as if the train is getting repaired by those moving arms and the staircase. So the rooms that arent open (as of right now) are the waiting area for the haunted attraction during Halloweekends and the narrow walkways to get to the big room with the moving arms.

I wonder if this is going to remain? I mean it will be a longer hot wait outside of that is the case!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
So that eliminates the front lobby (posters from around the world, monsterfied --- always a WTF?), the Brother Bear hallway of 3D handprints, and the three-windowed warehouse hallway. It also means air conditioning usage can be cut in half. It also probably means lines spilling out in front of the building on very busy days.

I waited for it twice yesterday just for some AC. It didn't seem like it was on. Maybe because they had those doors open so people could get in, and the heat just came in too.

This means the line of people will go all the way back past troika, maxair, and even wrap around space spiral if the park gets busy! :)
We will br baking in the hot sun all day, and they probably are also fixing the AC, so it will be hot inside as well...:( Just another reason for DT to screw up again and not make any improvements. It just stays the same or gets worse when it comes to changing something about it.
If DT was to be removed do you think they would implode it? That would be sweet! :)
