Disaster Transport Removed/ Remodeled/ Renamed

Whether people ride it because it is a good ride or they ride it because of air conditioning, it is still popular and people still ride it. My whole point was that as long as people continued to ride it, it will stay in the park.

yeah, someone said walt said adding more rides to that area of the park? you know why? N ONE GOES TO THE BEACH! they can easily expand out onto the beach and into the parking lot, i would say that area has the most expandable area of the park.

Although a new ride next to the mine ride or somewhere on millenium island you be nice ;) maybe on the frontier trail

before wicked twister was built that area was the employee beach but then when it was built it be came off limits to all so yes they can use the beach but i dont know how good the ground is under the sand

Check out where wicked twister is built.... on the sand. Im sure there is a nice hard foundation under the sand, But they can defenatly go out into the parking lot. and even that side of the parking lot with the front gate... they have plenty of room to expand so, i say lets just wait ti out and see

I think CP could add on to DT... They could make sometype of like Pirate Ride, which at the end goes wrong and the car is put onto the DT track. It could be kind of like those rides in Orlando where you ride through and at the end there is always something exciting/surprising. They could put the new first half of the ride behind those games. I think that would be really cool and not that hard to do.

I still like the idea of an inside coaster. There's some feeling of mystery about it that makes you scared of what it might be like on your first ride. As much as I enjoy Disaster Transport though, I can't help but think that an inside coaster could be done a lot better. Cedar point doesn't need another multi-hundred foot coaster in that area, I enjoy the smaller crowds. I also feel that DT is a bit of a waste since it has the closest location to the lake and could be made into a great aquatic themed coaster. Hopefully there is room in CP for an indoor coaster, because it brings a lot of character to CP's coaster collection, but DT doesn't seem to make the cut. I just hope that whatever CP decides to do, it won't destroy the theme and style that an indoor coaster, even DT, can bring to the park.

great post, Ffej. it is sad to see that some coasters do not age well. i don't have an answer about what can be done about it, but i trust that cp will come up with something more creative than glow in the dark hand prints in the near future!
