Perhaps a "save DT" strike should begin. Get a zillion people to stand outside the ride with signs. :P
I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

From what I remember, originally, the queue was set up for an hour's wait- divided into quarters. Starting from the loading dock, and working backwards, the stairs and repair bay shows (area #1) kept you entertained while they loaded and launched. You waited here between a few minutes to ride to 15 minutes, depending where you were in line (front to back)
When this area was for the most part emptied, the 12-15 minute show with Dave in the control room (area #2) finished and drained into the "empty" Repair Bay. In the control room, once filled, you practically stood in the same place for 15 minutes while the show went on.
After the control room emptied, the passengers waiting in the lobby (blacklit room) (area #3) filled the control room. The lobby show usually entitled a short safety video and a ride host or hostess on a platform telling bad jokes or playing the part of a flight attendant. Much like the control room, you stood in the same place in the queue for 12-15 minutes.
Finally, (area #4) was the overflow queue outside. Here the host/hostess with the stick would tell you that once you entered, it was a 45 minute wait.
I hope I remembered that right.

Chain lift. = runway
1/2 of 1st track = flying at night
brake section = lightning hitting the train
helix = twilight zone where missing trains have gone
2nd brake section. = out of twilight zone
anoter room after brake section=snow
well that was my overview of the ride when I first rode it.
Lets all email cp and tell them how much they should open up the real queue again

Does anyone remember the shot of cold air? Waiting area for unloading... I have fond memories of that also!
