Dinosaurs and Boats

I think having to B&M's right next to each other would be quite loud.

The B&M "roar" is a function of the supports not being filled with any damping material. A new B&M coaster designed with such material would be as quiet as Maverick.

There is a video of them filling Maverick's supports with sand. I like the roar of B&Ms. Mantis' sound is relaxing to me. :)

Yes, I really like the cars..

I agree with Your mom is to fat to ride TTD. Mantis is loud and I love it. What is the loudest B&M coaster? Just wondering

If I had to make an educated guess, I would say Levithan because that is the fastest. I don't know if that has anything to do with it though, it's just a guess.

Well no one knows about Levithan because they haven't started testing it yet. Mantis is the loudest I have heard. I know some of the supports on Diamondback are filled with sand which knocks the noise level down a bit. Kraken is also loud.

Mantis is loud, but that's what makes it :)

So... Am I the only one that gets majorly annoyed by the noise of Mantis and Raptor? It's annoying when you're in line, and talking to your friends, and get interrupted every three minutes by *WOOOOOOOSSSSHHHH* and *RROOOOOAAAAR*

Well with Mantis' slow loading times, its more like every 6 minutes. ;)

Nickster, I also agree that the loud sound is very annoying and distracting.

I'll also say that the sound of Raptor on the main midway is very annoying. Great ride, but I wish they would have filled the supports with sand like Maverick. Back in the day before Raptor, the main midway used to be much more pleasant to hang out, especially by the Burger Patio.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I think if the biggest complaint is loudness, B&M is doing just fine. :)

I guess now that with the Dinos taking over MF island next year, millennium won't be the only thing that's loud over in that part of the park :)

Ooh! I wonder if you'll be able to occasionally hear the dinosaurs while riding MF? It is a relatively quiet ride, so I should think it would be possible.

Shh... That was supposed to be a secret until opening day.

Well if that is the case to pay a few cents or dollars on the MF. Then the TTD, MANTIS, Iron Dragon, and a few more rides around that area will have to pay too. My dad also thinks in the future all the rides will cost money to ride them. Who knows, and if CP puts a CASINO around the PARK; I will be there more.

That's how it used to be. It's only been pay one price for about 1/3 of the parks existance.
