Demon Drop

DD is the perfect ride for people who want to get used to "the height". What I mean is, its perfect for people who are afraid of heights. Its generally the first thing I ride my first trip of the year. Its right up front, its short, and it gets you used to being up high.

CP would make a huge mistake taking this classic away.

Demon Drop is a great ride and the people who say it should be removed are some Haters. When you enter Cedar Point, its the first ride you see. The ride is fun. Every ride doesn't have to scare someone to death, even though waiting up there at the top really makes you nervous. I think the negative G's on the ride are great. Its a tradition to ride the ride first when I go to the Point

Also chris l why would we want a ride like superman... nevermind, I don't know why that was even suggested. I thought for a while that Cedar Point would get ride of Demon Rrop but to me its a good ride

I still float a nickle in front of my face every time I ride demon drop. Its also a nice alternative for people that don't like the height of power tower.

I never rode it but I like seeing classic rides like this in parks.

Demon Drop is a great ride. I'm always amazed when people want to remove a ride. If they came out with a 900 foot coaster people would be saying to tear down MF. There are always more exciting rides out there. Each ride serves a purpose. I'd say DD is ride for people that think the Power Tower is to high. If that keeps 5% of the riders that would normally ride the Power Tower out of the PT line and makes PT line smaller, then I'm for leaving DD there....

Demon Drop, aka "Satan Slide" (only Hooper and I will understand that) is a blast. The "running" joke for my kids and I is to find my truck before we drop. You've got 3 seconds to do it, literally.
By the time DD (SS) starts getting really scary you're on your back and it's over. It sounds and looks rough but it isnt. I say it stays, for people who are terrified of PT (ME!!!) DD (SS)
is cool!!

You cant take DD away. It is a park of the front of the park. It is the one thing that always makes me really excited to be at CP. I love the sound it makes when it drops down the hill.

Another reason to not take DD out: It's the only pure freefall in the park.

I agree that it should definitly stay like Nick G. I love the sound it makes when it drops down the hill and how the car goes up like an elevator inside the structure. It is a good location near raptor too.
