I had a pretty good idea that going up to get some laps in on the second day of the season was going to be worth it. AND BOY IT WAS!!!!
I started off with 2 walk-on laps on Raptor, great dispatches, great rides, great pictures! Next I went back to MF, got 5 rides in the next hour, they were pretty good, but dispatch intervals were a little lopsided at times. Next I headed back to Mean Streak, Gemini and CCMR, got one lap on each, Mean Streak trains got new paint, but it didn't really upset the roughness of the coaster. Next I headed over to Maggie. Got 15 walk-on rides, great crew, no trims most of the night, and empty trains too. I headed over to Dragster to see the wait, about 2 hours, by that time I was ready for some eats. I got an elephant ear up front, which was below average, not very impressed at all. I walked back to MF, rode another 3 times, headed over to the Red Garter, watched America Rocks! Practice for awhile, then headed back over to Maggie, got another 10 rides, along with Magnum Dan, and a friend of his. Nice Jacket Dan! By this time the ERT for Joe Cool Members had started, and it was almost 9:30, so I headed over to TTD for one last ride, the wait was about 45 min., and I almost got in line for another but was a little too late. TTD was AWSOME!!! This is the best ride in the park at night, by far, and the best in the park period. When they get the coutdown lights on the tower working, it will be awsome at night. Can't wait till next Friday, hopefully it will be the same crowd!
