Days off

So when you guys arent working what do you like to do. I mean do you ride some of the rides or what?

usually on my days off i try to get back in toutch with the real world. ill go to the store, the mall or my personal favorite...SLEEP! sometimes ill try to find some of my frineds that also have the day off or a short shift and we go play at soak or in the park. even though we spend soooo much time at the point, we cant seem to get away from it.

My days off went like this:

After my shift the day before my day off, I would run to my car and burn rubber to Kelly's apartment in Toledo, leaving behind tire marks and broken hearts at Cedar Point. I would sneak in and wake her up from the serene splendor of her nap on her favorite, green couch and then we would talk, watch television and have cocktails.

The next day, I would sleep in until 1 or so, and I would go shopping at the mall or at the Goodwill store. Treating myself to a nice, expensive lunch highlighted my otherwise quotidian lifestyle. Kelly, who worked until six, would either A) wish me a safe drive home if my next shift was 11:30-close or B) take me out to Kroger to buy "accoutrements of merriment" (this IS a family sight) if my next shift started at 1:30.

Good times...except when we decided to hit up Friendly's to meet my friend. That was bad.

Well, you can always get pneumonia. They will give you a whole week off for that ;-)

I try to get home on my days off depending what my shift is the next day. I only live about an hour and half rom the point so it's easy to pack up and go home for the night. There's nothing like the comfort of my own bed.
