Is it possible to get the same day off as someone else?
I'm moving down to Sandusky with my boyfriend and he'll also be working there, it'd be a lot more convenient if we had the same day off but I'm not sure how to go about that.

Depends on what department your bf is in. I see you are at MR if he is also in rides its a little bit easier since rides stick together. More than happy to help!

Its all in what days your particular supervisors want to schedual you off for the week...As long as they are not weekend days you shouldnt have a problem getting it done.
GO IRISH!!
Since you work in rides, the typical way days off are done is that your TL or ATL (whom ever is writing the schedule for that week) will normally ask you what day you want off or will have a calendar to request what day you want your one day off to be. Now these are requests and can not always be guaranteed, even if your TL or ATL give you that day off the supervisor could change it before the schedule is finalized.
Best way is for you two to pick a day that you want off together and let your leadership know ahead of time so they can try and work it out for you as best as they can! :)

Plus the further ahead of time you let your TL and ATL know the better your chances you both get that day off.

I know some people have been successful at asking for and getting the same day off every week (ie- always off on Thursdays), but it really depends on who's doing the schedule and how flexible they want to be with you. That would probably be the way to go, assuming both of you can make that arrangement.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Also if you get along with your leadership, if they don't like you or you don't like them good luck. Hope you get along with your TL and ATL.
