Dates off

I know that I need to take off a certain date in July. I will be processing in on Friday. Do I need to tell someone before I process in? If so, who is it?

If I find out some time over the summer that there is another date that I need off, are they cool with that, or will that present a problem?

Thank you.

You needed to tell someone in February.

Good luck.

Best you can hope for is your Team Leader to schedule the day off. Tell them asap.

Back in February? Back then I didn't know that I was going to get pulled over for speeding in April, and have to be in court in July! My court date just came a few days ago.

Oh. Let your area manager know about it then, ASAP. They will let you off for special cases like that. (I had to go for Jury Duty last year - blech)

Peggy Bertsch was pretty helpful with my Jury Duty last year.

So basically, should I just let them know once I process in?

Don't tell Personnel because it isn't their concern. Bring it up when you get to your department and then follow up when you meet your supervisor(s).

Yeah. Since you are working Dragster, you will be in Area 2. Let Steve Voorhee's know ASAP, or Karrah Yerage, or Matt Ozoskey whatever the case may be.
