Yes, but Cedar Point was the only place where I could listen to such audio obscurities as Percy Faith's recording of "Theme From A Summer Place!"
I did hear the theme from greatest american hero last Saturday... made me laugh. 'Who could it be... believe it or not its just me'
I thought it was about time they made this change to play some good music at the park. I was tired of hearing Avril Lavigne's "Sk8er Boi" seven million times when I went to the park... Even though I do like some old-school Avril Lavigne...
But anyway, if you don't like it, don't go to the park. Or invest in some earplugs.

Cedar Point advertises for American Hero.
BRING BACK THE CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!
I WILL NOT REST UNTIL CHAOS IS BRAUGHT BACK
My only complaint is that Maverick no longer has it's own queue music, and is playing the park music. Which is fine until the afternoon, when it is all pop music. I guess it isn't really a big deal, but the maverick music (except for the Pirates of the Caribbean theme) fit in well with the ride.
I did enjoy Maverick's unique queue music, though I think the playlist was a little short. Hearing banjos that frequently is probably one of the most effective ways to promote random acts of violence.

ARE YOU SERIOUS???? OMFG. The Maverick line music was the best thing in the whole park. When I rode Maverick this year it was too loud to hear the music so I didn't notice, but this is ridiculous. Pop music is the worst crap to hear. I am an actual great musician in real life and this music offends me to no end.

Yep, time to call Shenanigans.

I'm not sure if it is still the case, but as of the ACE weekend it was just playing the park music. However, opening weekend it was still playing the good ol' banjo tunes.

Are you sure you're not a pretend great musician in real life? Or maybe an actual great musician in make believe?

ARE YOU SERIOUS???? OMFG. Dude......Is this like a fake profile or something? If theme park music bothers you this much then you have more issues going on then anyone here is qualified to care for.

Pop/Dance music is made to get people to dance and have a good time. It doesn't have to have good substance to do that. I have heard a good variety of music with the new system in place, not just Pop. I even heard some obscure Indie artists an alternative rock.... I think you are blowing this way out of proportion.

Yes people are actually dancing in lines. As we were leaving the park last week Rihanna/Calvin Harris "We Found Love" Was blasting and people were dancing on the bricks while LEAVING the park. I heard some really good songs all day and it was a very broad mix. "We are Young" by Fun. was blasting at the front gates while coming in. I saw several people shouting the lyrics and laughing and that was a great way to start the day. I heard some Whitney Houston songs and people were singing along and said "awwww" when they first realized it was Whitney song. I have never seen music in the park interact with guests this much. Also i must mention.............
"LOUD NOISES"!!!!!!
