Last year the music was better. Now this year they are blasting bad music from the radio. Why can't we just get a break from it for once? There's a reason I'm at Cedar Point and not at school or facebook. Last year they played good more classical music and it fit better. I will be VERY disappointed if Cedar Point starts acting like Disney and blasting their bad pop music everywhere. I visited Disney World this year, against my will, and the music in Tomorrowland was DEAFENING. It was so bad and I had to leave that area of the park. I wasn't even able to ride Space Mountain!
BRING BACK THE CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!
I WILL NOT REST UNTIL CHAOS IS BRAUGHT BACK
I don't remember hearing Bach or Beethoven last year.

^^^Haha. Good one Brandon.
Seriously chaos guy, you're new here and a lot of your posts are really negative or just don't make sense. I'm not one to pick on people so I'll leave it at that. Of course we all have opinions, but the change in music was a welcome change to most people (not all). For music to just ruin your vacation well, that's odd. I never remember the Point playing "classical" music, but I remember them playing the Beach Boys or songs that reminded you of the beach from the 60s and 70s. Sure I'll miss that, but the contemporary music isn't a bad choice. I personally would like if they had different places to play different kinds of music, but if that were the case, you'd still find contemporary music all up and down the Main Midway.
Speaking of music, has anyone been to Soak City yet this year? They may still be playing the Beach Boys. WildWater Adventure at Michigan's Adventure plays the Beach Boys constantly still.
The entire park doesn't just play pop music. I do hear a lot of rock music also and slower versions of different songs. I have heard a lot of good things about the music now. It's more relevant and even a lot of parent's saying that it's songs their kids know that has them singing them, which puts them in a good mood. I know when I go to a park I'd rather hear up beat pop music and rock than hear classical and soft music.

He's got a point though... I can never seem to reconcile the sensory static when I cross the train tracks into frontier town and hear the loud, blaring, ESPN music from the three point shootout in front of the stockade and general store. Were the pioneer prospectors shooting three point hoops between moonshining and gold panning?
Anyone who wants to kidnap me and force me to Disneyland is more than welcome, however!

Man, if you have a hard time dealing with pop and dance music you must have a real hard time even going outside. Music is all around you every day of your life. Its on the radio in your car, in retail stores and guess what even AMUSEMENT PARKS. If they want to entertain the masses they need to change with entertainments changes as well. In the end, its music.... take it in, loosen up and dance a little! You will feel much better.

What a douche.......remember that most of the music being played for years and years was on repeat over and over. Most of the younger folks did not even know the songs even if they were clsassics to us. I can imagine you running and screaming covering your ears out of the park and from your negativity, I would have liked to see that in person.
I noticed a lot of people singing and dancing in various lines so it appears that for the most part people are enjoying the music. My only complaint is that when we were entering the park last Friday for the first time the song 'i had a bad day' was playing and was the first thing we heard... not exactly the song I want to hear when starting my day. Otherwise I have no complaints about the music.
