Crowded Saturday, empty Sunday.

My family checked in to Breakers Express Saturday morning (We had a reservation) and then got into the park at 11:30. We all ran to TTD and got in line. The ride wasn't open yet, and I watched a roll back when the ride was being tested. When it opened, we waited for about 10 minutes, and Lisa (sister) and I sat in front. Of course I put my hands up, and I had sore arms getting off. After that, the family separated, and Lisa and I headed through the growing crowds to Iron Dragon. We rode that, and then got Millie freeways for 11-midnight. Then we took CP&LE back to Meanie and Gemini. Magnum's line was so long that I didn't even ride it that day. We headed all the way back to the front of the park, and met up with my parents for lunch. Lisa and I didn't do much when we got back into the Po!nt, since the crowds and lines were horrible. I rode Space Spiral by myself, and saw that the parking lot was filled almost to capacity. We spent the next few hours riding flat rides that I hadn't ridden in a while. At six, we went back to the hotel for dinner, and got back to the park at 7:30. I wanted to meet fellow GTTPers by the Grandstands at 8:00, but I didn't see anyone among the massive crowds. After waiting for a short while, Lisa and I went to Hotel Breakers (the lobby was more decorated than BE) and looked at the park from the beach at night. Then we went back into the park and walked around. It was still an hour until Freeway time, and my feet hurt from my shoes, so we just sat around for awhile. As soon as it was 11, my sister and I walked over to Millie's line, but found out that the ride was experiencing technical difficulties. However, it was fixed within the next 15 minutes and we managed to ride. That was the last thing we rode that evening.

The next morning, my mom dropped us off and we used our resort ticket to get into Cedar Point at nine. Lisa and I ran to MF, and rode again and again. The park was empty because it was Sunday and cloudy. The wait was less than 10 minutes! After that, we rode Magnum and Gemini (both almost walk-ons). We rode Wildcat and a few flats, then rode Raptor twice, where I met Raptor Jo. After that, Lisa and I went over to Wicked Twister and rode it in the very back seat, which was pretty intense. Then it was time to leave (we had to meet mom & dad at 2.) It was an enjoyable trip, and I'm glad I got to meet at least one GTTPer. I hope to go again this year, if I find a weekend that's not busy.

Where would we be without CP?:)

That sucks about the saturday as I will be there next saturday myself and if its anything like yesterday(10/11) then I'm not looking forward to it, Hopefully it wont be too bad though.

I am going on sunday as well so cant wait for that, I've heard its always empty then so hopefully it will make up big time for the saturday.

I cant wait, Dragster here I come :)

Today was actually pretty busy for a Sunday. Along with yesterday and a very good Friday they had one hell of a weekend. I began my day with another rollback and 3 more Dragster rides. Last Sunday I got 16 rides and the line was as short as 15min so today was definately busier. I didn't feel like waiting 1 1/2 hours for it and I got bored and left about 5.

Ugh, why couldn't you get me a rollback on Friday? :(
Sunday it was empty, until around 1:00 pm. Then it started getting nuts again and I headed back to Michigan.

We left around 1pm today as well. When Gemini went down for long enough to require a walkdown, we decided that was a sign to hit the road.

Saturday was probably the most insane day I've ever seen. It was interesting to be part of it, to say the least.
