LOL. Ah, what money will do to people...
Of course, I guess I could take advantage as well... after spending all day Sunday at the park, I'll slip back to the hotel an hour before closing, throw on a dress, and then get kicked out with a full refund.

From what I know after a season of working there, CP definitely does have a no costume rule and the reason for it is exactly as Janice said - you have to be able to identify your guests. There was a guy wearing a mask on Magnum last year and we had to ask him to remove it. He did so without any beef if I remember. I understand why this guy was booted. Has anyone determined if he did in fact walk into the park "in costume?" If he did, then it's probably unfortunate for CP that they didn't catch him at the gate. I don't see how they'd possibly be able to enforce a no costume rule and still allow cross-dressers, so I feel that the park was correct, but they probably should have refused him admission in the first place if he was wearing his "costume."
Also, if he trys to pull the "CP discriminates against homosexuals" argument, it isn't very strong because many many employees of CP are gay. They took this action for safety reasons and safety reasons only. If they wanted to kick people out that they didn't like the look of, they'd probably start with fat chicks who wear clothes that are way to small and expose their flab roles.

I personally could care less if a guy wants to wear a dress. I don't find it offensive, but he must realize that it definitely will invite comments, laughs, and maybe worse. I don't condone people being idiots, but it is their right if they keep the comments to themselves.
Cedar Point being private property can make the rules they find necessary as long as it is consistently enforced across the board.
For whatever reason the guy wears the dress, he must know that it has consequences that would potentially cause him problems. Either his feelings on wearing the dress are so strong that he doesnt care, or he has some type of mental issue.
Wearing a dress doesnt make you gay, and judging how the employees say there is a larger concentration of gay people working at the Point, I doubt that CP has any negative or discriminatory views on it.
If it makes him happy, who cares. It is his life, and life is way to short to be irritated by a guy that isnt directly affecting your life.
