criminal history?

I recently applied however I do have a criminal history and I was honest about it. It is a felony however. What exactly do they look for in criminal history on background check?

Uhm, care to share the details of the felony? I'm not really sure, I know for a fact they're okay with some misdemeanors and not so serious stuff.

Its a non violent non drug related not any type of sexual offense .. kinda hard to explain it ..I was literally hanging round wrong people and was at wrong place at wrong time. U explained on app and did admit to having one. Was just curious if it will stop my chances. I kno if I could talk with Co HR and explain they'd understand the circumstances were just that and its not who I am as a person. Or what type of worker I am or what I could bring to cp as a good hard working asset to the team. I do under stand their feelings if they choose not to accept me as well. I guess wish me luck. Hope I can have the chance to prove my past isn't my present nor future nor does is reflect who I am as a person. Just made a bad decision at one time and learned from my mistakes.

They probably would want you for the tax credit ;) if you were a former felon...

It is a hard call if you were offered the job and there is an issue with your background check they will call you and figure it out!
