Crazy days

After reading the "is the park ever not busy?" thread, I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention those days when the park just goes nuts - for various reasons - just to give our newer folks a heads up. I forget the dates of several of these days, so if anyone can help out...

ARC day - I believe ARC stands for Association of Retarded Citizens (please correct me if I'm wrong) - basically it's a day where people with all kinds of challenges, both physical and mental, come to enjoy the park. The majority of these people require special access, so obviously things such as getting people on rides, etc can be a little more difficult, and many people are confused on the access policies, so be sure you know them cold before that day comes.

Father's Day - not so much a busier day if I remember correctly, but the unofficial 'gay-day' at CP. Be prepared for complaints from both sides of the fence on this day.

Parking Ban Days - days when employees are not allowed to drive to work (some days you are allowed to car-pool). Yeah, these days suck, but we've all gotta deal with it. Just make sure you have a bus schedule handy.

Physics Day - area high school kids are in the park taking measurements on the rides and calculating various things. You'll probably be getting a lot of questions on the specs of your ride (not sure if the other departments get questions too) so if you know stuff such as the max speed, lift hill height, etc. you'll help them out.

July 4th weekend - goes without saying that usually on this weekend the park is busier than normal since most people have the weekend off. July 4 is a Friday this year, so count on that whole weekend rocking.

That's all I can think of right now. Anyone else got any?

I imagine opening day is going to be intense for people working on and around TTD and at the main and resort entrances.
Opening, for the most part, is always intense at the main and resort entrances. Imagine that the gate is a huge dam, holding back a human tidal wave...now imagine that gate is lifted. People just flood into the park. It's one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

Physics Day is May 22.
