Cp's Slogan

Heres a few Cedar Point commercials I found on Youtube. With the slogans in them.

1987-"The Cure For Summertime Blues" (This doesn't have the slogan in it but i though it was still funny, The Cedar Point Commercial starts at about 43 seconds)

1994- I just found this one and decided to post it

2001- "Hold On" (The video quality isn't to great)

2003- "Are You Ready"

2004- "Absolutely Amazing"

Thats all I was able to find. :)

I noticed that all of the recent slogans have been only two words lately. They seem to be nice but I think they should go back to a bigger slogan. I don't know why i just like them a little bit more.

Was that really the 2003 slogan? I think that was just the theme and/or title for that video. I think "Race for the Sky" was the 2003 slogan.

I got some of those slogans off of Wikipedia and it says "Are You Ready". I'm not totally sure though. DBCP you may be right.

I try throwing out the "Ride On" slogan every night. Unfortunately, the response is usually..."please stay behind the yellow line."

^I'm so lost on what that meant. Oh well. :)

Anyways, I've never seen a place that has commercials SO LONG as Cedar Point does. I mean, I love to watch them, but I can't see most people even sitting through them.

Once again, if you look down at your feet and you see yellow, you are too close to the ride. Please step back behind the yellow line.

Now you may ride on. :)

Cedar Point could do a Mafia take on their next slogan. "Where else yoo gonna go?"

Regarding the OP,

"Ride On" is just a quick, easy way to get the point across. Ride the rides.
Saying something like "can you handle the Point?" Is going to scare people off. Marketing is a lot more clever than things that just sound cool.
