All Wheels Extreme. If you can find time in your busy day of riding coasters, check it out. It is different each year. Some of the stunts they pull seem like they should not be humanly possible. I highly recommend it.
Monster is my vote for most underrated ride. With a good operator at the controls, you can have a really good amount of airtime.
3 Years of Fun!
Professional button presser.
Wearer of lime green and blue.
Gemini for sure. Wave Swinger.
From the ancient past: The Frontier sky ride at night, Short-wheelbase Corkscrew (snappy!), White Water Landing.
"Your persiflage does not amuse. " - Ralph (from Around the world in 80 days)
Wicked Twister all the way!! THAT my friends is an underrated guilty pleasure :)
RMC Mean Streak: 215ft Tall, 75mph, 4 inversions. 2020)ALL BLACK B&M Flying Coaster on Millennium Island. 2023 or 2025) Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter like Takabisha
I'm really glad somebody mentioned Monster.
I had forgotten about the ride until it's update along with the rest of the Gemini Midway. I love it and it's a must-ride every visit. Cedar Downs is another that we always ride, especially when I take my sisters to the park.
All Wheels Extreme was great last year. I honestly thought that guy wasn't suppose to be in the show and I was about to rip him down when he started climbing to the top! It's a good thing I didn't.
I totally agree with Monster. I rode it for the first time in years last season and LOVED it.
1999: First visit
Halloweekends- Harvest Fear, Tombstone Terror-Tory
Ride Operations- Professor Delbert’s Frontier Fling
Magnum, Blue Streak, and Gatekeeper. Magnum is so good if you just pull your seatbelt to avoid the thigh crush. It isnt that rough and the airtime is insane. Blue Streak is amazing in the 2nd to last row because you get some good ejector and it isn't a wheel seat so its smooth. Gatekeeper just never has a line in the afternoon because its capacity is insane so its always a must ride for me when its not too crowded. Sit in the middle 4 rows because they run the softer and smoother wheel. Look for the fat white wheels vs the thin brown ones.
SV ruins all other rides.
Mean Streak was the most underrated coaster back when it was open, in my opinion. In the back of the park where it seemed abandoned, and most found it too rough because people are used to the smoothness of Gatekeeper and such.
As for present rides, I think Skyhawk and Pipescream are extremely underrated, especially the latter. It doesn't look all that fast or exciting but once you ride it you'll understand how fun it is. Skyhawk, however, looks really exciting from the outside and it is, so it is surprising that the line is always so short. Not that I am complaining, because I like going on it over and over in such a short period of time lol.
I've seen a lot of Wicked Twister and Gemini.
I unfortunately haven't been to Cedar Point very many times, especially compared to most in this space, but I'm still ashamed to admit my last visit (summer 2015) was my first time riding Gemini, and I loved it! I always looked at it as skippable because it didn't look at that big or fast, but I was really pleasantly surprised. And it was a walk on, making it even better! It is definitely a must-ride from now on for me.
As for Wicked Twister, it's unfortunately the opposite for me. The first couple times I went to CP I loved WT, but the last couple times I rode it it was underwhelming. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything, just not all that thrilling compared to how I remembered it.
For my answer, Skyhawk immediately comes to mind. This is such a fun ride. It's usually a pretty short wait, has a decent run time, and provides a type of thrill you don't quite get on any other ride. Between feeling like you're being thrust straight into the sky or being dangled 100+ feet over the ground, it's just so good. It's also great a night!
Monster, I had forgotten how much fun that ride is. Took my kids on it and now it is on our to do list every visit.
Tied for first place in this category is Magnum and Wicked Twister, without a doubt. Usually me and my girlfriend start our day in the back of the park to avoid the huge rush in the front, and I swear I feel like we can't get away from Magnum all afternoon. It's such a great ride, a classic, so much history... just enough roughness to make things interesting. The longest I've waited for Magnum since coming quite a bit has probably been less than 10 mins.
Wicked Twister is mentioned a ton before me but it's just a fantastic, unique ride that I never get tired of. Also I appreciate the ride ops there because with the cold days of shade and breeze coupled with the noise of that station, that ride can't be the most fun to work at all day/season.
19 year-old enthusiast. Screw Disney, this is MY most magical place on Earth!
"Have a great rest of your day at Cedar Point, America's Roller Coast. Ride on."
Witches Wheel. My boys love it and as a kid at SFSTL Highland Fling was my favorite flat. Just loved it. Rode it with my boys about 6 years ago and swore it was my last time however, I felt like Death. Just to old, I guess.
Might give it a try if I plan on staying the night sometime but not if I have a 2 hour drive back to Columbus. :)
I used to like Witches' Wheel. Enjoyed working there, enjoyed the crew, and was the ride I met my ex at while working there...
Then she turned into a cheating douche....soooo there goes that ride (and nasty lady) ;)

Wicked Twister is the ideal location to work at when it is 90 degree weather. The breeze from the lake is amazing. Halloweekends is a pain in the butt to work Wicked Twister. Not only the cold wind from the lake and the train, but the sand is out of control! However, of all the rides I have worked at CP, Wicked Twister is by far still my favorite to operate!
Everyone is going to not be surprised with my response. Some people might say that they experience too much head banging, while others like me say I don't feel anything. The answer from me is Rougarou. In my opinion this ride deserves a longer line.
I'm pretty surprised that CF attempts another Rouga-ouch conversion. Better than mantis... yes, something you can skip...absolutely.
With a park full of superior coasters, perhaps ouch-aroo would shine at lesser parks... it's just nothing special at CP.
New for 2024- Wicked Twister Plus
The electric boogaloo, or Rougarou, whichever you prefer.
CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium
Rougarou is right up there as far as I'm concerned. Exciting, forceful ride and a relatively short wait make it a must ride for me. I don't experience the head banging that others do though I do have to brace myself during portions of the ride after the mid-course brake.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Every time Rougarou's perceived roughness gets brought up I'm just amazed. I've never once had a "rough" moment on it, especially not enough to call it "ouch-aroo."
That's not to say that we can't have different experiences, but I've had more rough rides on Raptor than I have Rougarou.
I think the conversion was brilliant and it made the coaster lineup that much better, in my opinion.
But yeah, about underrated rides. Monster. Ride it.
It's probably better categorized as the most overlooked ride at Cedar Point instead of the most underrated, but the Skyride has always been a favorite. You get to spend a few minutes off of your feet while enjoying a unique perspective of the park. I still wish they kept the Frontierland Skyride as it provided a conveniently enjoyable opportunity to travel the entire length of the park.
Tall and fast not so much upside down...
