CP Veterans' opinions/Input

I have a slightly unique situation. Towards the end of last season, I decided I wasn't coming back in '04. Funny how things change, isn't it? Anyway, I worked as a bar server at Fridays on the beach, and in September my friend and I decided we were moving to California, where we had jobs at another Fridays waiting for us. We tried to transfer, because Fridays has a transfer policy and it was ok'ed by both GM's, but because we were hired through Cedar Point, they couldn't transfer us. We didn't find this out (Our GM told us it was a go ahead type of thing) till we got to Cali, and had to be re-hired by Fridays. Technically termed by Cedar Point, bonus forfieted.

Anyways, since I thought I wasn't going to come back this year, I never bothered to get Bronze Certified. I'm wondering what my chances of re-hire are going to be like. I heard last year that if you didn't get Bronze Certified, you couldn't come back next year, and I also heard that you could come back, but you had to get certified within a month.

It was harder for us to get certified. Alot of people didn't. We were always really busy. And we didn't have Delilah. Alot of people weren't planning on coming back and might be changing their minds like I did.

What do you think my chances of getting rehired are? Does my GM and server manager have the final say in who gets rehired, or do they go by the technical stuff in HR?

Last year my application was sent to my server manager because I had Fridays experience. Will they check my file before the forward my app to her again?

Does anyone know how this works? I don't want to get my hopes up and then not get rehired.

If I'm not rehired, do you think a letter of explanation and a promise to do better could land me my old job back? Conditional rehire or whatnot?
