Not that I really want to continue this amazing conversation but really?...Brandon seriously, that sounded like it came from a 12 year old. If you don't like what he says about others, why on earth would you step down to that level and do the same?
Chris, I understand what you're saying and I apologise to you and PointBuzz for my statement. I just wanted to give him his own medicine.

I'm only 32 and Twitter makes me feel like the "grumpy old man" (ala Dana Carvey).
Doesn't anyone like to be "unconnected" anymore? Personally, I relish the few "quiet" moments life gives me and my wife. The last thing I would want to do at Cedar Point or any other place I go to relax is bring along any unnecessary chunk of technology. Hell the only reason I even own a cell-phone is in case of an emergency.
And that's the we liked it....we loved it! (to those of you old enough to know who the "Grumpy Old Man" character was)

^The future and prevailing existance of mankind depends on technology. There is still the real possibility that we could go the way of the dinosaurs if we do not have the knowhow in order to prevent our demise. However, I do agree that "some" areas may have gone too far, all fueled by the lust for money. Peace, Mikey
Twitter is just an odd niche. It's like a more public facebook?
I used it once on here to report what Halloweekends was like. I didn't have a phone with a qwerty keyboard. Making it really annoying in the park. Although I think Twitter shows how easy ideas can be exchanged (like ride wait times) to groups of people who are interested.

Nonsense. You can selectively decide who can see what, if anything.

Twitter is neat, and useful, but I get the impression that its turning into a celebrity marketing tool that most people find uninteresting, as evidenced by the purported 60% retention rate.

And I fail to see the connection between Twitter and the future of the human race. Maybe that's all the dinosaurs needed...a way to be...connected....

^^^^I have to find out how to do that. I don't want everyone knowing when I write on someones wall.

I really enjoy using twitter. Its cool to see what celebrities do during the day. I suggest following any of the few people from the Mythbusters crew.
