I think it's all MaverickLaunch. Just Coasting (and before that, Coast) has a very unique set of complaints and demands. ML was all about the right wing agenda and owning the libs. JC was, well, I still can't figure it out.

I guess when the season gets delayed indefinitely we start detailed analysis of the differing styles of the banned trolls.

Then again, my wheels may have been installed incorrectly rendering these opinions useless.

Best way to make trolls go away is to stop replying to them.

I’m glad to see the contactless payment options, and I’m not sure about the way-finding modules as I think there was only one by Valravn.

We now know that you’ll have to reserve a date and time to visit the park, obviously based on capacity control, but I wonder how they’ll balance pass holders and non pass holders?

I’m hoping to see a virtual queue system implemented as well, and I’ll be curious to see the final list of attractions and how seating will be handled. As I’ve said in my own workplace, this pandemic has allowed companies to innovate and implement tech solutions that otherwise would have taken years to do. This puts Cedar Point more in line with bigger theme parks now.

I outlined this a few weeks ago, I don't remember what thread but in a nutshell the park has an idea of how many pass holders are likely to show up each day from tons of data they have collected. Even with things in a weird state they will still have a formula that likely will come close to a number and based off of that they will block that amount out from whatever capacity number they come up with.

I would say that it would be a first come, first serve reservation system. I doubt they leave spots open just in case a pass holder might be able to make last minute plans. Those types of days won't be possible this season, it seems.

Also, UP4041, you see how I didn't need to quote the previous post and you still knew what I was referring to? Sorry. It is a pet peeve of mine when people quote the post directly above their post. And you've done it like 4 times now...in 7 total posts. Also, its against the rules of the forum.

But the same can be applied to a reservation system and even with a first come, first serve style you would still want to make sure you had space for pass holders. For example if the park limit for August 1st is 25,000 guests, they might make 22,000 tickets available for day guests if they forecast 3,000 pass holders that will want to visit that day. So up until whatever point the park decides to cut off advance sales, they would hold 3,000 spots up til a certain point and then maybe release them for anyone but the park will want to make sure there is room in the daily capacity for pass holders.
