Indeed it was the bomb Joe E.
All the MS needs is a little T L C to get it (pardon the pun) back on the right track.
Mean Streak was 10th in the park in ridership in 2000. Corkscrew even had more riders than the Streak. I love the Mean Streak! I wouldn't want it torn down unless they planned on replacing it with a better woodie, or even a working clone of the Mean Streak. But again, I love the Mean Streak, and I'd hate to see it go. But If I had a choice between MS now and a MS as stated earlier by Joe E., I'd rather take the latter. Again, I don't want it gone, but if it's for the foreward progress of the park, then I'm for it.

They aren't going to tear it down. My opinion is that I would rather see a CCI on that spot than that small forest with trains, that is if they don't start giving it some TLC.

(Here is my track length estimate for Cedar Point Coasters, since I didn't count the coasters I rode when I was around 4 this is quite wild) 3,268,755 feet, about 619 miles. Around 162, 810 feet of this is on the coaster in question.
I know there is someone on this site that kill's this length on one coaster alone.
(Talk about rapid fire posting, that's 3 post in about 2 minutes in one topic, an off-season GTTP record?)
