CP Memorabilia

I have been collecting CP memorabilia ever since I started visiting back in 1984. I was just wondering ...what is your favorite/most unusual piece of CP memorabilia? I personally like the collection of park maps I have. It is fun to see how the park has changed over the years!

My collection is huge - it would be like picking a favorite child. I have stuff I probably don't even know that I have.

Things that come to mind ... my massive collection of brochures and my '125 Summers!' midway flag.

I have only been to the point 3 times in my life, so I haven't bought many souvenirs. My favorites are definitely my Dragster t-shirt, and my Dragster on-ride photo, just because our faces look really screwed up.

i am jealous! though i adore cp, i am slightly lacking in the memorabilia department. the best memorabilia i have is my mother's employee pass from 1975 when she worked in Breakers.

i'm the product of a summer romance: my parents met at cp in '75!

Mine would have to be my stencil that reads "Deliver to Cedar Point Project Banshee".

Launch that sucker...Yeah!

I have about 12 pieces of memorabilia (I check at every garage sale!). I have this old green-glass cream holder(?) which says Cedar Point and it is clearly very old. I actually saw the set it goes along with in the musuem. I really like my 1995 map, which was the first time I actually rode everything. My most prized piece though would have to be my Banshee pin.

If you haven't noticed I am in the middle of liquidating most of my stuff, I am just focusing on Magnum and Dragster stuff. If you are looking for anything drop me a line!

Technically I own a Disaster Transport pin sold to me by a guy on e-Bay, but I have yet to see it.

Hey Sparty and Dan, did you ever get your stuff from that Ray guy?

Favorite items would be my midway flags and huge button collection.

Michael, we all got screwed by Ray. I lost about $50 and I believe Dan lost a couple hundred.

My favorite thing is my little old timey desktop calendar. You actually roll over the date yourself. I paid pretty good money for it on ebay but I just HAD to have it. (you know, that whole chestnut)

I got my items from Ray, it only took 11 months. Ohh yeah my favorite item is my Magnum 3D sign and the picture I use for my profile I got blown up to 8x10 and it means the world to me! :)

Even though I've been going to the park for 37 years, I've got very little memorabilia. I would say my favorite is the brochure that announces Gemini and the picture of my son's first ride on Magnum when he was 5 years old.

I would have to say my Iron Dragon 100 years of rollers coasters sign is my favorite. I also have a good collection of wall calendars that run a close second.

i only have a few shirts and some souvenir cups, but my favorite would have to be my Magnum - Decade of Dominance cup from 1999. it sits on my desk filled with 16 dollars in pennies. fun stuff.
is any of your memorabilia used in a common way, any of you? or does it sit in a box somewhere in your attic? or is it just on display in your living space?

Probably just my maps/onride photos, and Magnum 10th anniv. T-Shirt that I have framed and on my wall.

Yeah, I have a Power Tower mug/cup. It's the kind that has water inside of it so you can freeze it before using it so it helps to keep your beverage icy cold. I do use it occassionally (when I remember to get it out of my freezer..)

Probably my Banshee button, or my shot glass collection.

I own you!
