CP June 24

Well, I have been a roller coaster lover for over 3 years now, and have been reading this forum ever since i went to cp in 2000. Anyway, this was my first trip in 2004, and i can say it was excellent as always, probably the one of the best times i ever had in my life. I went with my youth group, so i wasn't expecting much, but we had a great day.

First me and my friends went on Dragster, we got on after waiting about 1 1/2 hrs, and it was sweet as usual. I am the only ttd regular in the group, and it was all first times for the rest. I heard so many expletives yelled in 15 seconds!!! The rest of the day we went around to all the rides, numerous times, and i rode back of mf for the first time. It was a pleasant suprize, being whipped around that first hill, (more expletives) catching major airtime, and having a good time.

For lunch we went to tuesdays by breakers, and were entertained by a moron waiter trying to get a tip. We continued on the rest of the day riding more rides and since it was supposed to storm but didn't, crowds were quite small. Around 5:00, we got on the mean streak, and as usual it was bumpy, but for the first time, i really liked it!! Screaming the whole way, it was an enjoyable experience. We got to the brakes before the station, and we suddenly stopped. I guess there was a blocking problem, and the ride e-stopped with us sitting on the run for a good 1/2 hour. A ride attendant named Gregg came and told us just to stay put for a while, it would be taken care of. Well it took a while, and being rowdy teenagers, we started a lets go Gregg chant and had a good time with him. He talked to our friends on my cell and told us we broke down, and did a good job. So if you see Gregg at the mean streak, just start a Gregg chant, he'll know what its from. After that, some cp staff came and manually unlocked us, and gave us two free front of the line passes!!! Great customer service, im sure six flags wouldn't have done the same.

We got two mf rides off of the passes. Later in the night, we were in line for dragster and got up to 5 or 6 rides from the front of the train when it broke down and they reset everything, but for some reason it took longer than normal, seemed like they were having the problem with the cable engagement system. We waited, started up some dee-troit basketball chants, and had a good time. If anyone saw a blonde kid with a white cp shirt going crazy, that was me. We wanted to stay, but it was 1/2 hour till we had to be back in the car, so we left, lucky for us it wasn't running untlil we left, and in that time we got 3 raptor rides and 1 mf. I probably took up half the server space with my post sorry its so long, but i just wanted to give props to cedar point and cedar fair for giving us such a great park, still the best. Later

No, No, No, its on the other side of breakers, next to wensdays and behind mondays ;)

Oh! It is becoming clear to me *smacks self in head* My other thought was that it was near Magnum Force! ;)

Oops, misprint :( Yeah tgi fridays. If you are ever there and a waiter named robert is there, ask him how rugbys going ;)
