CP for us!!! 8-15

Lauren (UCISECPJKNGDS's g/f) and I hit the Po!nt at 9:30am. Lauren was sick as a dog but was determined to stick it out. On the way to the park we placed a bet on how many times I would be asked if my tattoos were real. We both way overguessed and since we couldn't technically count the pointers and whisperers, the final official count was 9.
Gates open, off to Raptor. My perfect way to get a CP day started. We then hit WT, Power Tower (yes thats right, Power Tower-my 1st time this season and we actually DROPPED!) We stopped in the PR office to visit (Sandy is still sitting at MYdesk! ;)) then back out to park. The weather was kind of warm but not too bad and in general the park was pretty crowded but seemed to peak off around noon. I finally won a CP cow by letting someone guess my weight (I freaked too cause I thought the girl guessed close enough so no cow for me-she guessed 132 I weigh 138 so yes cow for me :)) I also bought another fine pair of CP socks, a CP bear, a CP dog and Lauren was nice enough to buy me TWO Raptor magnets!! :)
So much for the "season pass holders don't spend $$" theory. We were the typical Po!nters, bringing our own lunch and dinners. The time relaxing in the picnic area was nice. We were meeting up with Matt and Tony at 7:30 so headed back to Raptor :) rode again, then Matt, his g/f Megan, Tony and Dave (some lurker here) arrived. Back to Raptor. Now I dont know if it's just me but it seems like once we met up with the GTTP'ers it was like the 2nd part of our fun was about to begin. We hit up Gemini a few times and what a BLAST! It was too much fun!! I hadn't had that much fun on Gemini since the Gemini 100! My fav part was NO trim on the Blue train helix, and obviousely any time our train won! (Do not EVER ride with Tony-what ever train HE's in LOSES!) Now looking back Lauren and I rode Gemini like 5 or 6x! Riding (singing on?) Corkscrew was a blast, eating bugs on Troika a blast. Tony and Megan just HAD to ride MF, (line far too long for any of us) so we headed back to WT. On way we stopped at Wildcat and I WISH I could write here what was being said by Dave during the ride, THAT was CLASSIC I was crying by the time we got off I was laughing so hard! :) Off to WT we went. We got back car and it was my 1st night ride. I rode WT in the "dark" at 5:45am on Media Day but that was the last time-night ride was pretty cool! Especially waving at Matt and Dave during the whole twist and shot through!
Park now officially closed. We all headed back to MF to wait on Tony and Megan who still didn't finish their MF adventure. Exhausted (by this time Lauren and I had been CP'in for 14 hours) Lauren and I bid a fond farewell to our GTTP buds and left for home. I have absolutely NO voice today (a sign of a GREAT CP day!) and I am sure poor sick Lauren sounds far worse than me. The only "major" thing we didnt ride was MS and MF-no loss for me.
Other high Po!nts of the day:
Seeing all my ride ops buds, Tyler, meeting CP bound, the barefoot walk in the water on the beach, the backwards ride on CCMR, the PT crew telling me I should get a PT tattoo, "teaching" Lauren some CP trivia, calling UCISECPJKHD several times during the day teasing him, me calling my work and teasing some CP lovin co-workers,
"no Raptor for you" patrol (ewwwwww!) and generally just having another awesome CP day.

Thanks to Lauren for joining me, it was a blast and we HAVE to do it again! (next week??) Thanks to Matt, Tony, Megan and definitely Dave for keeping me laughing and adding to the CP craziness!

It was great to see you and Lauren again as well as the regular crew that I hang out with. It was A blast as always and I can not wait for next week!

Nice meeting you [Magnum] Jo. ;) Lauren was pretty good at hand smacking on the turns of Gemini. I didn't know that you 2 until I got off of the ride and saw you guys leaving. I had possibly the best, most intense ride on Raptor yet. It was insanely fast and disorienting. I wanted to go back and do it again, even if there was a big line for it.

We were the very last people in the MF line for the night, but it turned out to be a half loaded blue train, so it was a so-so ride. I had a great day though, and am content on back to school now. Probably mostly because I know I'll be back once or twice for HalloWeekends. :)

No monkeys for you! : ) I had such a great time at the park. I cannot believe that I survived an entire day on my own with Raptor Jo! I loved it though and could probably be convinced to go back soon. Uh-oh, I think I'm becoming a Po!nter Girl.

Matt, Tony, Megan, and Dave...I was glad to see you again and be able to have a wonderful evening with you all. Jeff wasn't too angry with me since we called him about every 3 hours! : ) Thanks for the good times. We have to do it again soon!

Another satisfying day at the Point. See you all back there for Halloweekends! (Is it just a rumor or can we confirm that Raptor Jo and UCSigEpjuhifdsjni are actually working?) : ) Yea!!!!!!!!

Yeah, what's up with all the phone calls??? My girlfriend calling from MY park hanging out with MY friends... ;) I was on GTTP first... j/k!!! I'm glad you guys had fun, I wish I could have gone. Oh well, gotta pay the bills. I don't have a cush job, like teaching... :) Just playing, hon. Anyways, I'm ready for another trip to the Point, next weekend looks good for me... :) But, during the week, I'm out. So it may be Halloweekends for me. Oh, wait. There may be other plans during October. Guess I'll have to go the first weekend of Halloweekends... ;)

Whew!!!!!What an evening, great hanging out with you guys once again and look forward to doing it again soon. I think you guys made it back to Columbus before I left the park. That 40 minute wait Tony talked about turned into an hour and a half or close to it. They decided to go to 2 train operation then back to 3 then someone got stuck in the restaints, then someone pukes, and Tony and Megan finally make it off MF and I make it home just before 1:00AM.

Jeff, too bad you couldn't make it hopefully next time. Maybe working?

Matt-Maybe we need to ask Dave about the dorms huh?? :) I told my co workers the Wildcat story tonight and was cracking up doing it and ya know they all looked at me like I was nuts! Apparently you needed to be there.

My night just didn't seem complete without a Tony hug goodbye :( But glad we didn't wait on him to finish riding his "baby", Lauren and I were pretty pooped!
Still yacked the whole way home mind you, but pooped none the less! :)

Cp bound-Raptor was FLYING yesterday!! Lauren even making the comment to me "this thing must know when you're on it" Glad you had fun and again nice meeting you! :)

What a great evening that was!!I can tell you I was totally pooped out by the time I reached home.It was great hanging out with youse guys and hope to see ya'll during Halloweekends!!
