CP Fire Dept

I came really close to working at CP this season as a Firefighter/Paramedic but found a higher paying job here in Detroit (I mean $9 an hour for a ff/medic isn't a whole lot). I regret not going, and am considering applying for next season just because I absolutely love Cedar Point and think it would be a lot of fun. Can anyone give me some info about the department, etc (DTLarson, you're the only one I've seen post on this subject so far).

What kind of call volume do you have and what nature are your calls? What kind of apparatus do you have? What shifts do you work? Can I visit the fire office when I visit CP this summer?

HI, I am not familiar with the F/P crew, but two summers ago I performed there and will again this summer (arriving in June) but the Security Dept. lived in the apartment complex...aka: Bayside. Wise decision to go where the money is, however, I am 27 and can best summerize the whole Cedar Point experience as "REAL WORLD"...Uncensored! Yes, but it depends as any living situation does of course, who you are spending time with after work or before. I am part of Live Entertainment but one of my closest friends happens to be a supervisor of a roller-coaster. Lots of luck in your path of work.
