Just my opinion but since SFMM has already announced it's new coaster (#16 I might add) it just seems CP messed this one up big time.

Uhhh, not really. This isn't like 1999 when MF's announcement trumped SFMM's secret (but shorter) Goliath. We're not talking about coasters in the same class here. SF didn't even get an appreciable twitch in their stock prices, much less any real publicity with the announcement of Just Another Coaster. A good one, sure--but not shockingly different than a dozen or so others.

When CP tops off the new world champion, I guarantee you will see it everywhere. Video footage on network national news, CNN, photos in USA Today, the works. Rep. Markey will come yipping around for camera time, people who barely know you except that you're a coaster freak will come running up to you--the whole deal.

SFMM's announcement was merely an announcement. CP's will be an event. They can announce it whenever they want to and still trump SFMM.
