The seat rotation on the prototype is not random like a spinning mouse, either. It's precisely controlled depending on the distance between the main and controlling rails. So, for example, they could turn you face down for the first drop then turn you on your back for a loop.

Spinning mice (heh) are only random to a point, though, right? In so far as the fact that they don't spin for one part of the ride, then they're disengaged to do whatever it pleases. At that point, the weight of the passengers throws the car into random spins.

Thank god movement on that new Arrow isn't just random... talk about an upset stomach.
