CP & LE Railroad

What's up everyone. I am one of the many Cedar Point cherries this season. Not only will this be the first time working for Cedar Point, but it will also be the first time I've ever been there. Anyways, I have been assigned to CP & LE Railroad. Before everyone asks, I have no clue as to whether I'm engineering or not....hopefully someone can give me a clue as to how I can find out. I will be processing in on April 30th and working until October 30th.

I have plenty of questions, but I will pace myself and ask them gradually.

Unless you specified that you have prior engineering experience and/or have an interest in being an engineer, chances are you are a member of the platform crew.

If I’m not mistaken, you can be a “fireman” on the train without previous experience. At least a buddy of mine didn’t have any experience and he got the job.

I signed up for Ride Operations. This is what my contract shows:

Does this mean anything to any of you? I'm not sure if you can tell by that or not.

314- is Platform so, get used to saying that above ^. ;)

314 is the Engine House and Platform. I believe you are on platform since it says ride host. Not Engineer/Fireman. But yes you can get on the Egine with no exprience. I had a girl on my crew last year on platform and she is on engine as a fireman this year. Also there is another girl I know just got hired on there too. Also the engine house was short guys last season and they took people from different rides and my platform to fill them. Also you have to pick a different code on Application if you want to be an engineer/fireman.
