there are more colors available too. it is a very thick foundation that covers literally everything. i dont suggest buying it online though because you cant really tell what color is correct. also, since it is on your ankle you can always use an ace bandage.

Hey LadyHawk :)
You're actually going to be working on my crew this year! If you haven't already, you should join our crew page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/357080800970358/

If it was on your ankle (I don't know how big it is) but you could just cover it up with a bandaid or an ace bandage.

Where can you go to buy the stage make-up? Looking for a new way to cover mine up this year and thinking about using concealer.

I usually use a band-aid due to how small mine is. Depending on where it is on your ankle even your socks might cover up the tattoo

You can get stage makeup at costume stores if you don't want to order it online

Good idea is to find either a costume store or theater supply store. If you have a theater near by or a local school has a theater group ask them where they get their stuff.
Once you find a color and brand that you like you can order that exact item online, and probably cheaper than getting it at most stores.

Personally I prefer either Ben Nye or Graftobian. I don't have tattoo's but do plenty of Halloween makeup.

Having a small background in makeup I can tell you that if you want cheap, go with Ben Nye. But you will also be reapplying when it gets hot out, especially if you sweat a lot. I did a lot of research into what would be the best makeup to cover a tattoo with in the type of environment you would work in at a park when I knew I would need to cover up. So far the best bang for your buck is 'MAC Full Coverage Foundation'.

It is about $24 and comes in a size that will last you a long time. I use it to cover 2 tattoos that run the length of my calf on each leg. I bought my compact from MAC in November and it is only half empty and I apply it every day to both legs. The longest shift I have had with it on my legs was 22 hours and at the end of it you still couldn't see my tattoos. I highly recommend it if you want something that will last you.

I was wondering the same thing, I have a tattoo on my wrist and I didn't know what to cover it with.

Where did you get the MAC foundation?

You will find a MAC store at most high-end malls and I believe some MACY's stores have a MAC counter. Just use their website to find a location.

Great! Thanks.

Why do you want to cover it, when it on your ankle?? I mean you won't have any problem if you are going for any interviews. Because on such a place, I don't think make-up could help. It won't stay there.

I've never been a fan of Bloody Mary brand make-up. It always seems to be just re-packaged cheap stuff, like you find at local Halloween shops during the season.

Great if you want some makeup for trick-or-treating (or filming a movie) but not really good for long term use in a very hot and sweaty environment.

Jayme, do you still sell the different makeup kits in the gift shop?

^What Matt said about long term. If you want something that will last out in the heat for 12+ hours, go with what I already recommended by MAC.
