I agree with Joe. I find the corkscrew trains very uncomfortable. They are 25 years old. With new technology, they can design something better. Look at MF...those seats are soothing!
Hey I was just responding to what Bruce and Magnum is Sinking were talking about. The Steel Phantom thing was just a joke. Obviously SP would appear to be much more intense than Corkscrew. I have not been on SP so I don't know for sure but the 225ft drop would obviously be more intense than anything on Corkscrew.
Nice one Joe... you got me there. I guess there are some notable exceptions to the rule, but all of them are older than twenty years old. Corkscrew isn't too bad, neither is Nessie. However, Shockwave, Anaconda, Viper, Vortex... the list goes on... I could do without.

I've never had a problem with corkscrew or the trains. While I've never been on Steel Phantom, I have been other modern Arrow loopers and I find it interesting that old Arrow coasters seem to be smoother then their newer offerings. Is it just me or does the horsecollar on Corkscrew seem to be a lot more slender then other horsecollars?
Long live the Corkscrew!!! It's a part of CP's history now...getting rid of that ride would be like tearing down the Breakers...oh, wait...that already happened somewhat.

Hey Walt both of us where wrong in our posts above. The 100th anniversary of the Roller Coaster was "celebrated" in 1984 along with the 20th year of the Blue Streak!
Check out your old brochures and see the 1984 one.
OK - I see what you were refering to. I thought you were talking about the 100th year of the coaster at CP.

Probably a new logo since the trains still haven't gotten the logo back on. Long live the Corkscrew!!
