^Corkscrew was the first triple inversion coaster in the world.
I don't mind the ride it's just that I brought a younger friend of mine on it and it was his first ever upside-down coaster and he got his head banged around quite a bit. So now he won't go on any other upside-down coasters. :(

Thanks for the hustle on the platform! Much appreciated.
I enjoy negative G's that kick in as you crest the small airtime hill. If you sit front seat and stretch out your legs, your feet float up and kick the inside of the train's nose wedge. The vertical loop is still excellent; it's just those uncomforatable twists that make it difficult to ride repeatedly.
You know those round neck wraparound pillows you can buy for air travel? I wonder if wearing one of those would act as a headbang buffer. Or get some big fluffy earmuffs. Or borrow a helmet from the extreme stunt show....
Just say no to trims
^ - that would be great.
Go get a moto-cross helmet and put it on just before boarding.
Actually, might have to put it on after pulling the horse collar down.

Hmmm, I've got to say I've never had any head banging on Corkscrew. Maybe it is the variation in people's heights which makes some have a comfortable ride and some not. But, as far as I'm concerned, Corkscrew is a very smooth ride.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I'ved never had any head-banging that was worthy of complaining about. In my opinion, the best outlook to have is that some coasters are going to shake you around a bit. I'd rather expect a bumpy ride and get a smooth one, and be satisfied, than expect a smooth ride, get a bumpy, head-banging ride, and be disappointed.

There is a trick that I've figured out, being my first season in the park and working at the corkscrew, I love the ride, and I've figured out a trick that works and every time I tell someone the trick on the platform, they get back and tell me it works, so I know it's not just me. What you do, when you go into the corkscrews, is lean your head forward and right, then when you're coming out, lean forward and left, and you won't hit your head... I guarantee it, so it's forward right, forward left, forward right, forward left, and then forward right coming up onto the brake run.... ENJOY!
This past week I had my first ride on Corkscrew, and the crew really made it a ride I would never forget! I loved the ride and the crew. I can't remember the op's name that was spieling but she was funny and calmed my nerves in line. I will tell all about my trip later in a TR.
