Corkscrew Crew 2003

Hey, it's your ATL here. I was just wondering if there is anyone else that posts on here that is on Corkscrew this year. I know Alan posts here. If you're new to the crew this year I have a little advice; do not buy expensive white shoes becuase that ride will tear them up and turn them yellow. Sd-20 works wonders though... :)

Heya~ I am on the corkscrew crew for this summer! So what type of white shoes should I buy? any particular type that would be best?! I am coming to CP on May 19th. And I guess I will just throw in that this is my first year at CP...any other advice?! :)

I'm also a newbie on the Corkscrew Crew; I process in May 28th. Any other advice, send an e-mail my way (profile). I already talked to Naomi a little about it, but any other suggestions wouldn't hurt. I can handle any horror stories you have from last year... ;)

Hmmm I'm not really a shoe expert, but I would say just to buy some shoes that are 90-100% white shoes (I think the percentage cedar point wants) that are comfortable but not too expensive. I bought these $80 Nike white shoes for last year and they were completely tore up by the end of the season from all the pedal popping.

Naomi is a nut. It's about time they put her in the back of the park away from masses of people. :) Just kidding Naomi, you're my hero. ;)I learned a lot of things from her so be prepared. I'm pretty much easy to get along with so don't be too scared. :)

Horror stories, yep I've got a few of those. The most common one would probably be: water bottle that can't be taken on ride + person at entrance not watching for them + irate person = one angry guest. That's happened a few times actually...

What are you talking about? I loved it when the guests yelled and screamed at us mean, mean rule making employees! I absolutly loved it when I had stuffed animals and bottles thrown at my head."WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CANT TAKE MY PURSE WITH ME???????????? LOOK ITS HOOKED ON TIGHT!!!B*&CH.......What sign theres no sign that says I cant bring this on with me....I have to pay for ANOTHER locker??' Awww I want to be on corkscrew again.

you guys act like it was that bad...its not like supervisors ever had to be called because a crew member finally burst from all the times that they got yelled at about lockers. geesh...silly guests, corkscrew is not for you!

hey y'all it's jeff your atl from corkscrew 2002. i might be coming back this year if they would hurry up and send me my contract. i hope to end up on a roller coaster again, hopefully not the corkscrew. anyways i hope to see most of the crew from 2002 this summer. and justin, can you say hi to naomi for me please. thanks. see you all soon.

First post, w00t!!

I'm not on Corkscrew this year, but I was fully trained on Corkscrew last year and was borrowed from Thunder Canyon (Where I will be THIS year) a couple times. Some of the 2002 Corkscrew crew will know me. I was just about the only one who ever showed enthusiasm when on spiels.

Don't knock Naomi. I thought she was hot. :-X OK everyone. Gimme the wierd looks now.

I think I heard Naomi is the TL of Snake River Falls this year (Not 100% sure though) so if I'm on TC, I'll see her a lot. Woohoo!!

I process in on April 27th.

Who's juppy? I just signed up for these forums yesterday, so I don't know anyone by nickname yet.

I really wish I had checked out this site sooner.

How am I? Just thrilled to be going back to CP!! Though I *REALLY* wanted to be on Raptor this year, but if I couldn't have that, I would have still been very happy at Corkscrew. Instead I'm at Thunder Canyon. Oh well. There's always a slim chance I can get transferred.

Today is my last day here at home. Tomorrow, I leave for the 4 day drive to Cincinnati. On Saturday, I'll be visiting King's Island, and Sunday, I process in.

I just can't wait to see TTD in person!
