Okay, this is kind of silly, but imagine that CP tore down soak city/mean streak/camper village. What would they do with all the space? What would you do? I made a sort of haphazard blank park map in paint, and I thought it would be fun to draw in the attraction(s) that would best fit in the space!!
Please feel free to add back other attractions, make your own in photoshop etc.

cmon lets see some more guys! lol
Interesting thought, but doubtful it would happen.
Perhaps more realistic would be an expansion into the current parking lot by CP building a multilevel parking garage to free up the real estate. Disneyland in CA did this exact thing when they built CA Adventure. Now, what would that expansion look like?
Don't need to draw it, but I want a Boardwalk like at Hersheypark. They pulled that look/feel off nicely and they're nowhere near any water. CP has the hard part on lock: water all around it. Now its time to truly make Lake Erie feel like its an important part of the park.I want a Boardwalk with a big ole (new) twisting GCI plus LOTS of things for FAMILIES, and I want it now.

It wounden't bother me a bit if they took out the "so called" camper village.
Funny.....I figured you would say that. Some of us actually like camper village. Im heading up to camper village in a bit. Im curious if they addressed a couple of the issues you brought up.

I would cry if they got rid of the water park! But if they did, i would build 1 tall breakrs tower and attach a parking garage to it. This would be convienient because you don;t have to worry about car in the rain+ it saves up space! I would build a really nice waterpark! MOve camper village where the east of chicago area is now. Build another woodie & keep lighthouse pt. Extra space, well if it were my choice i would build a subway system under the park & you could see some of the motors run! :)

Amazingly enough, the Disney multi-level garage works well. I visited a year or two after it opened and arrived in time for opening (when there is typically a fair amount of traffic). Got to the garage and into a parking space without a long wait. They have multiple entrances feeding it, not unlike Universal in Florida. The downside is a long tram ride to the entrance booths, but the trams come often.
