Cool Idea: What would you do?

Okay, this is kind of silly, but imagine that CP tore down soak city/mean streak/camper village. What would they do with all the space? What would you do? I made a sort of haphazard blank park map in paint, and I thought it would be fun to draw in the attraction(s) that would best fit in the space!!
Please feel free to add back other attractions, make your own in photoshop etc.

I am going to upload mine in a bit.. have some thinking to do.
(attn mods: If this seems inappropriate, please remove :))

That's pretty cool, but I doubt they will ever take out SC. They may take out Camper Village though.

If they completely remove Camper Village, I imagine it would only be to add more cabins.

It wounden't bother me a bit if they took out the "so called" camper village.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I think it's funny that you included Mean Streak. Xp

I think the soak city parking lot could of probably been takin out with SC. Also how are Hotel Breaker's guest going to get to the hotel?

Just when I thought the drawing for the normal park map was funny... I'm a big fan of this already :)

Interesting thought, but doubtful it would happen.

Perhaps more realistic would be an expansion into the current parking lot by CP building a multilevel parking garage to free up the real estate. Disneyland in CA did this exact thing when they built CA Adventure. Now, what would that expansion look like?

Don't need to draw it, but I want a Boardwalk like at Hersheypark. They pulled that look/feel off nicely and they're nowhere near any water. CP has the hard part on lock: water all around it. Now its time to truly make Lake Erie feel like its an important part of the park.I want a Boardwalk with a big ole (new) twisting GCI plus LOTS of things for FAMILIES, and I want it now.

Funny.....I figured you would say that. Some of us actually like camper village. Im heading up to camper village in a bit. Im curious if they addressed a couple of the issues you brought up.

Get rid of camper village but keep the lighthouse point campgrounds because those are ALOT nicer compared to CV

MF94 - that makes zero sense. At LHP, there are cabins and cottages available for rent. At CV, there are parking spots available for rent where you can park your camper. So really, if CV isn't nicer, then its your own damn fault for not getting a nicer camper.

No CV sites are old and are in need of modernizing..

If you had ever seen LP you would know there is a separate campground there which offers full service hook-ups, better lake views, and is newer.

I would cry if they got rid of the water park! But if they did, i would build 1 tall breakrs tower and attach a parking garage to it. This would be convienient because you don;t have to worry about car in the rain+ it saves up space! I would build a really nice waterpark! MOve camper village where the east of chicago area is now. Build another woodie & keep lighthouse pt. Extra space, well if it were my choice i would build a subway system under the park & you could see some of the motors run! :)

IMO i think it would be easier to build towards the front of the park using the park lot and removing DT.

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

Those coasters look mighty bumpy ;) but yeah, I always thought the multi level parking garage would be a good idea, but it would have to accommodate the sheer amount of traffic coming in and out.

Amazingly enough, the Disney multi-level garage works well. I visited a year or two after it opened and arrived in time for opening (when there is typically a fair amount of traffic). Got to the garage and into a parking space without a long wait. They have multiple entrances feeding it, not unlike Universal in Florida. The downside is a long tram ride to the entrance booths, but the trams come often.

You'd have to wonder if casinos are ever legalized in Ohio if the park/resort would begin to take a step in that direction. If they did, I'd be convinced that we would see a parking garage to make room for more buildings.
