Contract/Dates Question

I just had a quick question about a date on my contract. It says that my last day is the 23 of August. Does that mean I process out on the 23rd, or do I work the 23rd and then process out on the 24th?

It depends... if you work 'til close on the 23rd you can process out of different departments throughout the day while they're still open, and then just turn in all the rest of your stuff to your department office at close. OR you can wait til the next morning to do all that stuff at the same time - and then move out of housing. If you get out of work early enough during the day on the 23rd then you can process out that day - it all just depends on your schedule/time conflicts w/school, etc.

My last day I was able to work from open until 1:30 and then processed out then....

There alot of departments/supervisors that require you to work at least 8 hours (or so) on your last day. Alot of people like to do stupid things on their last day leading up to and including getting fired and losing your bonus. If you just tell them your situation though, I'm sure they will be willing to work with you. It also depends on staffing levels.

You have 24 hours after you last shift to be done processing out. ( I think)

Matt's right. Once you start the process-out process (how akward) you have 24 hours to vacate housing (I think :))
