Construction in Parking Lot

I was at CP today the 16th and i noticed some construction just to the left of the parking toll booths and i was wondering if anyone knew what this was for

It is the worlds tallest, fastest, steepest, and longest boat show. :)

We had a water main break two weeks ago and they are still repairing the ground they dug up. If any one can recall there were sighns posted throughout the park.
