Considering a Cabin or Cottage

In lieu of a graduation party, I'm considering taking ~8 friends (myself included) to Cedar Point for a few days, probably Wednesday through Saturday or Sunday.

If anyone here has ever rented a cabin or cottage for that length of time, how was it? Are they kept clean? Will we receive early-entry passes? Which would be better for my group (cabin or cottage)?

Thanks for your help.

Congratulations on graduation! But, don't rush it, because you're gonna miss high school like whoa! I graduated in '08 and like everyone else, couldn't wait to be out of school and go to college...Now I wish I was back LOL.

Anyways, enough of me reminiscing on the good days, here is a link to Lighthouse Point which is the location of the Cottages and Cabins. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/resorts/hotels/lighthouse_point.cfm

From working at the park this past summer, I got to see a lot of things I've never seen before as a guest and the cabins was one of them. They're a pretty decent size. I mean they aren't big enough to have a raging party in, but they're definitely clean. Besides, you're probably not gonna spend much time in there except sleeping and possibly eating. There's a lot to explore on point!

Also, go to this page: http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/resorts/hotels/index.cfm
scroll down to "Lighthouse Point", there are 3 yellow box options: Check Rates, More Info, and Photos.

It's been a couple years since I stayed in one, but the cabins have a loft that can sleep multiple people with sleeping bags. The cottages do not have a loft.

It's very possible to sleep 8 people in a cabin. It might be a little cramped, but it's definitely doable.
