MM days were the best. I pulled 73 the one night leading to my opening year record of 269.
*sigh*
Miss the days when I had the free time to do such things.

VertiGo Rides - 82
R.I.P. Fright Zone, and Cyrus along with it.
If I remember correctly one night I got 62 and the next night I got 64. This allowed me to be up at 407 rides by the end of the '01 season. However, things have since slowed way down for me as far as coaster riding. Ah, Good Times!

Man, 1000 rides over 5 years! Congrats Tony. I'm only 990 behind you (I don't think I'll get there until 2090, lol). I wish I could get up to 100 on maXair this year, but I'm only seeing 50 or 60 this year.
Only 50 or 60? That's a lot of rides. I've had over 150 TTD this year. 175 MF rides. And about 120 maXair.
Holy crap! Do you just ride maXair during JC, or do you wait in line often since you live in Sandusky? I wouldn't be surprised if I ride Delirium most of the day at PKI when I go for a concert, if its not down that is (the TTD of flats, and not really getting better).

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I HATE Six Flags, how often did you ride MF this summer? Did I ever see you?

Like Tony said, the best thing is meeting all the people while waiting through those lines. I remember in 1989 when Magnum opened, I managed over 500 rides. I loved it! I met some great people in those lines that year. I wish I had kept track of the rides through the years. After I hit 800 in middle of the 2nd season, I quit counting. At that time I was afraid it would take the fun out of riding if I did. Who knows how many thousands of rides I would have accumulated by now! It never gets boring! As long as it is a ride you love, you can keep riding over and over.
Doing it to get attention is just stupid. Like others have said, we don't go looking for it. It finds us.
Tony, what is the most you have ridden MF in a day? Excluding Millennium Mania? My personal best on Magnum is 83. It does take a lot out of you riding that much in one day. Especially the walking around after every ride! It's always fun doing this when there are new ride prides or ride ops. They think we are nuts!!
