Concert at Soak City

This will be our first trip to Cedar Point and need some advice. We are planning on attending the September PointFest concert that takes place in the
Soak City parking lot so will be hauling lawn chairs. We are also planning on going to the amusement park. Which hotel would it be best to stay at?

That depends on how much money you are wanting to spend, wanting a hotel closest to the park, what's the hook for each hotel, or getting a hotel at all.
If you want a good walk to the park and you are willing to spend some extra money, then Hotel Breakers. If there are a lot of you attending, you may want a suite from the Hotel Breakers, Sandcastle, or Castaway Bay. If you want to have some fun within your hotel, go to Castaway Bay. If you want a guaranteed room for you or you want to save money, go to Breakers Express.
Any Cedar Point hotel will give you a MAJOR discount on admission if you buy your tickets at the front desk of each hotel, so you may want to consider one of Cedar Point's properties instead of an outside hotel such as Quality Inn or Best Western.

If you want easy access to the concert, then Breakers, Sandcastle, and Lighthouse Point would all be ideal.

Thanks everyone, we decided on Breakers since we will be carrying chairs for the concert but won't be able to take advantage of the discount on admission because the concert tickets included the park entrance. Looking forward to this weekend.
