complete layout project 07

I was checking MySpace and under Billboard Cedar Point sent me a sneak peak of Mavericks layout in detail completed like a real arial picture. When i went to show a friend later that night.. it was gone..

I am new here. Name is Marc.

Here is what i saw...

I think the trains will be like Sheikra. It was an arial shot and small. Also the inversions seem to tight for a full train.

That long stretch on track that is covered on top is a brake run. Look at Kingda Ka pictures. same new concept. Fin in slot.

There is alot of cosmetics to the finished ride. Maybe why they started so early. The brake run is completely enclosed by a long shed matching the white water landing building and going into that structure.

The lift hill is directly above that long straightway. Why so many poles sticking up.

The first drop was straight down or almost more than.. Pointbuzz photos show the hill that will have nice air time. They are building a mountain under it that the train will jump over. Also that mountain curves around and the track follows that natural curve on top in the middle.

The finished ride was missing alot of the inversions that you see now. Maybe they are hidden or covered completely from sight.

Of course it went over the swan boat pond. Also a hill. There was alot of track on the opposite end as well. Close to Meanstreak.

It sounds like it would be possible, but I highly doubt what you saw is the real concept drawing.

Yeah, someone might be playing a prank.

It could have been prank.. The layout looked professional though. showed swings and curved building. The rocks and lake erie. Almost real. i used to work security at PKI and looked alot like there models. The way tracked curved seemed to match exact of current pointbuzz photos.. I hope it is real because it looked awesome.

They well be normal Intamin trains Marc. There isn's enough space between the supports to have a Shikra train and Shikra is made by B&M.

The drawing is real. I am pretty sure about that one.

It is on Screamscape.. There is a nice article there about the coaster dated 9/1/06. Definately no room for Sheikra cars, but smaller cars instead of whole train..

Did none of you catch on to why all of those posts regarding that site were being deleted yesterday...?

but i dont see the 2 corkscrew like inversions. One maybe. And isnt the water table to high to go underground?

That image looks like it was a picture taken from a Televison screan. Anyways, that looks to be Keith McVeen quality,s o I wouldn't be surprised if that is the model for the announcement. I really like the way it looks.

If you'll notice is there is a trench under the corkscrews, and this pictures seems to confirm a water dyke.

The image has been 100% confirmed to be real. Walt made a post saying something to the effect of they didn't want this information to get out, and they are taking the leak very seriously.

If it is real then @#$! YEAH! Seriously I really hope it is real because it looks awesome. I was lucky enough to save the image to my computer. Although I don't get how people are saying it couldn't have a train, or why they think it has dive machine trains. Corkscrews inversions are just as tight and it has a full length train. And there were no trains in the picture.

The trains will be normal style, but just be shorter with fewer seats. Has the image been taken down from the net?
