Communal Bathrooms

I was wondering how the communal bathrooms are in the dorms and how many people share the same one. At my school I have a communal bathroom and about 55 guys share 5 showers, 10 sinks, and about 6 "other" bathroom things... So how are the bathrooms in the dorms? Also, are the showers separate or like gang showers? Furthermore, are people more respectful than they are here? By that I mean do they do their alcohol-induced purging in places other than the toilets and sinks? Follow me?

It's college with out the classes and the books.......Plus it depends on if you live in a dorm or an apartment.

In the Commons bathrooms there are (I am not sure if this is completely accurate or not, I'm trying to remember the best I can) 5 or 6 shower stalls, 6 bathrooms stalls, and 4 or 5 sinks. The showers are each private with a curtain. You share the bathroom with everyone on your floor, and I'm not sure exactly how many people live on each floor, but I personally never had a problem with the bathroom being too crowded, and it was rare that I had to wait to use a shower.

RaptorboyJohn: I have heard that before. So are you saying people vomit in the hallways and all over the bathrooms?

Cat: Thanks for the reply.

Now how about the water pressure of the shower? Is it a waterfall? a dew drop? How would you say it is? I'm asking because last year, my dorm had a bathroom in the room and the water pressure was really strong. However, the dorm I live in now doesn't have that great of water pressure and it just kinda drips out of the shower head. So.. I wanna know if anyone that has been in a few of the different living facilities has noticed a difference between the showers. I know this seems like a small matter but it's important to me!

well its good that they have seperate shower stalls for everyone cus i hated in hs when after lax practice having everyone stare at u as u washed off. kinda disturbing... so the places arent crowded? good cus that means i wont be late to work. hehe

I though the water pressure was really good, actually. Strong, but not painfully strong. And there was nothing in the world nicer than coming home after a long day and taking a hot shower, even if it is 90 degrees out! At least that is how the water pressure was in the 1500 building...I don't know if it is the same in the other buildings or Cedars/Gold. The water pressure was good in Bayside, too, when I lived there two years ago.

Yeah Jodi I am really glad for separate showers, too...I have never had to do the open shower thing, and I can't see why anyone should be made to do that. Depending on what time you have to get up I think the bathrooms get more croweded than at other times, but always give yourself enough extra time to get ready, because if you do have to wait for a shower, that will set you back several minutes.
