Common Dorms?

I`ve read a lot about housing and common dorms seems to be the best option. People say its loud with people parting, etc. I'm not a drinker, but enjoy having a good time, is there as much partying as people say? I've also read staying in the Cedars is a better option if you like quietness, but I don't want to stay in a place with spiders and no air condition.

Security usually patrols during late hours. The major partying that goes on, occurs at Louie's. Along with your usual pre-game drinking before heading over there.

I liked commons...parties there weren't too crazy and if they are and you can't personally work something out, all ya have to do is call security and its all done...

I don't care for cedars well...the building is crappy IMO..also I liked being off point to an extent, made days off a little bit better

Thanks for the feedback. Doesn't seem like it will be a issue, some posts I read made it sound like its unbearable and can't even sleep because of the noise.

my last 2 years I stayed at Cedars. This year, I stayed at 1400's and really loved it.

Yeah I was ganna say it's not bad really, just a bit annoying (bathrooms a mess, or cleaning them at unopportune times, ect.). Just keep your room clean (hard part lol, I went through two swiffer pads a night). Get stuff for off days/bum days/late starts/split shifts, and get good bedding, that's all that's really necessary, the rest will always be fun
