comming back after quitting?

I worked last year and ended up getting very sick and having to quit because of surgery. Has anyone here ever quit and applied the following season? Will they let you come back? I sent in my application about a week ago and I havn't received an e-mail back but I was thinking about calling and checking it out tomarrow. Also, I applied for rides, because I want to have some fun this year, so do you think that I have even less of a chance of getting that? Any expierience would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It all depends on how you department listed you after you quit.

If you were able to fill out an on-line appllication, then at least you're not a 'no-rehire'. Problem is you may be a conditional because you quit before your contract was up.

Medical releases are usually not held against you but Merch may still have to lift your conditional. If you don't hear anything soon I'd call Rides and find out of you've been listed conditional. If so, you'll need to get ahold of Merch and find out if they can lift it.

If you quit, you are automatically on a conditional -- they have to know what the situation was, and whether or not it's likely to be repeated. If you want to switch departments, I'd recommend simply calling in another week or two to talk to the department you want (in this case, Park Operations), and explain the situation directly to them. Best of luck!
