Coming from Kelleys Island?

I am trying to go to Cedar Point on Saturday. I'll be coming from Kelleys Island.

I emailed the Jet Express and they said it would be $30 for a roundtrip plus a taxi for the four miles it takes to get from their dock to Cedar Point.

Are there cheaper ways to get to Cedar Point from Kelleys?
Also, if I find someone with a boat, can they just drop me off at a Cedar Point Marina?

The Kelleys Island ferry is $19 for and adult round trip. Of course you would need to take a car over so you can drive from Marblehead. A car round trip is $30. You're up to $59 before factoring in gas. The drive to CP is roughly 30 minutesI don't know what cab fare would be.

There used to be a boat that stopped at CP from Kelleys on the way to Sandusky, but that won't help you now.

I can't answer the CP marina question, though it would seem to me it maybe be possible to be dropped off. How will you return? Check with the marina first.

I'm pretty sure there are temporary dock areas available at the marina. They are available for Famous Dave, and Marina store goers. I've seen boats drop people off before at the Marina, so if you can get a ride there... But I would call first and make sure.
