Has anyone noticed or know if CP has the new cherry flavored Mt. Dew, at the concession stands? I have tried Code Red and its not bad, but here in Toledo its hard to find! Most gas stations who so far seem to be the only ones carrying the drink, are sold out! I was just curious if CP has it or will get it! Any answers?

God loves all!
This is the first I've heard of it at all, but I'm sure if it becomes popular enough CP will have some! It might only be in a few machines though, so you'd probably have to look pretty hard to find it.

It is a VERY BAD beverage..terrible after taste...IMHO...:)

They have it in a few of our many vending machines at school... I myself haven't tried it but most of my friends say it is pretty bad... we looked around for it at CP on Opening Day and didn't find any.

it will be hard to tell what they do with it. Pepsi is terrible about new products! They test marketed "Storm" for 2 years in Indiana but wouldn't sell it in Ohio. I loved the drink! I had to drive at least 20 miles to get any. Now they dropped it completely! They keep trying new stuff but never give it a chance.
I don't like what they have to drink at the park. I try not to drink too much colas, and Dew makes me drowsy. I used to drink Slice, but due to Pepsi ignorance, they dropped it for Sierra mist.
Switch back to Coke so I can have some Surge!

My sister works for Pepsi and she hates the fact that I drink coke. To humor her, I bought Seirra Mist for Thanksgiving so I could have a Pepsi product in the apartment. It sucks. It almost has no taste... until you pour in a shot of DeKuyper Grape Puckers Schnapps.. then it's not so bad!

How about a nice pitcher of ice water with a twist of lemon?

Oh, a topic dear to my tastebuds!
Josta...Josta...Josta...ice cold (warm, it tasted like cough medicine), with the 'primal power of Guarana!!!'
And Cherry Cola Slice.
That summer when they did Strawberry and Cherry Pepsi was pretty weird...can't say -that- tasted good...
Ah, the Pepsi products of days gone by (but not Pepsi Clear or Pepsi Free, please!)
Here in Ithaca, NY, you STILL can not buy SURGE. You can buy it in Syracuse (40 miles northeast), Binghamton (40 miles southeast), and Rochester (65 miles northwest), but NOT IN ITHACA. It's kind of annoying. I have a feeling we'll never get Code Red. Ever.

I don't think Code Red is that bad. It reminds me of being back in grade school and drinking a mix Hawaian Punch and 7-Up at holiday parties. :) Granted, I don't recall getting a caffeine buzz from that. LOL

The first time I ever saw it was at a gas station in Ft. Wayne. I hadn't heard anything about it before that--not even on commercials.
I don't know about you, but if you have a pop at $2.50 a piece, it better taste good!
I can't believe people will pay that much for "pure" bleached bottle water! blech! Well water is much better.
What about JOLT? Now that is a good soda.

Okay, while not exactly on the topic of Code Red... has CP always had orange drink as a choice at all the food locations, or is this new for the season??

"Orange Drink" has always been an option, as far as I know. You can get Hawaiian Punch too, but I don't know if it's only at selected stands.
Anyone else remember the carts that sold the tacky juice bottles? The animal and fruit ones in the rancid colors -- a staple of Cedar Point!

Code Red reminds me of Ruby Red Squirt. I like them both, but I like Chuckers drink the best. Now if only that came out of a Pepsi machine.
CrystalKat--
I remember those bottles! That was always something I *had* to have every trip down there (don't ask why, they weren't really that good!)
Thanks for answering my question!

Mantomatic - No problem! :) I know what you mean about you *had* to have it -- not a drink, but every few years I'd *have* to try a chocolate-covered frozen banana -- and they were always atrocious! But I know I'll try them again, even still...

Actually, the Code Red Mt. Dew isn't that bad. Coke has a red soda out (I can't remember the name) and it is pretty vile. It tastes like cough medicine!
SFMM is like the only place, on the west coast at least, where you can find not only Surge but Frozen Surge (like a surge flavored slurpee).
