I may have broken the code for the "remember what followed Magnum" clue! Last night I sat down and started guessing. After a long 3-hours* I finally got it at 11:00! What followed the Magnum? The transformation of Avalanche Run into Disaster Transport. What's that you say, you already knew this? Well, I'm not done quite yet! For AR to be transformed it must not have attracted many guests. New theme = new feel. What ride now REALLY needs a transformation? YES! You guessed right! The mighty Mean Streak. Maybe MS will be redesigned with better trains, smooth ride and *drooling* airtime!
Either that or the code is referring to 2001. Sandcastle was built in 90 and LHP was built in 01.
But lets pray for the first!
* actual time may be around 10 min ;)

Uh... this is going to start another one of those "11-year theory" and THIS time I didn't do it! :)
You've been thinking way too hard.

Sigh,
Here's how it works. The park has a two year plan and a five year goal. The park is always in a transition from secound to third year. So right now they are planning for 2003. They have no idea what they are going to do elevan years from now. And they had no idea in 1990 what they wanted to do elevan years from then.

no MIS, I didn't mean CP thought of it 11 years ago. That quote was just taken (I think) last year.

Your right, I'm going outside again. I Think I will walk up to seven *eleven* and buy a slushy. I am getting sick of the letter E as you can tell.
Go into the light you say?
If you're going to seven-eleven, you're buying a Slurpee TM, not a "slushy." ;)
Personally, I prefer a cherry Icee TM.

They call it a slushy on the Simpsons. And Mmmmm was it good. My favorite is actually the Root Beer Float Cafe Cooler.
CP sells Icee brand don't they? What flavors do they have?
Actually, on the Simpsoms it's called a "squishy" as in "Hey - don't bogart that squishy!"
I dont really think that they are going to do anything major to the meanstreak next year. It just seems that they would do a coaster because of what SFMM did.
------------
CP in 2002, get to the point
Trust me, CP is not about to add a coaster just because 'Park X' has something bigger or 'Park Y' has more coasters now. CP is on a very specific, very strict timetable as far as adding attractions is concerned.

"Trust me, CP is not about to add a coaster just because 'Park X' has something bigger or 'Park Y' has more coasters now".
Wanna make a bet?
I am not stating that CP won't add a coaster.
I am simply saying that the addition of attractions at CP IS NOT dictated by the actions of other parks. THIS I KNOW -- there is nothing to bet on.

That's right Cedar Point is not going to add new coasters to keep up, they will do it because thats what they do best, what they like to do, and what thier patrons love them for.
If that were the case, they wouldn't care ONE bit whether S:TE is a coaster or not. Not trying to start an arguement, but It just cracks me up how people think just because they're a fan of a park, that means they know what everyone associated with the park is thinking. CP and "park X" have proven by their "actions" that they DO care what other parks do, and make their decisions accordingly.
