CoasterMania 2002! Who will be there?

1 month bump in case there are any newcomers...

I may be working all depends on if coaster mania is a weekday or not if it is than I am not working but if it is than I am working.

I am planning on being there. I still have to join the Coaster Buzz Club, but I've got a little time yet. I'll definately be packing a cooler full of Mountain Dew for that drive home.

What is the latest hour one can arrive and still be part of Coaster Mania? I would likely miss the morning ERT, but can I still arrive later (around 8 or 9 am) and still register?

If Hell doesn't freeze over,I'll be there for the 12th yr in the row! Was scheduled to be there day before,but had to cancel. Needed the extra vacation day to add to my England,Europe trip in July.

I can think of one thing that will improve this years CM over last year. CHICKEN,CHICKEN,CHICKEN!!!!!!!!!! :)

What the heck is coaster mania!? It sounds really fun and all... but I have absolutley no clue what or when it is!! Some body please tell me!! I might be able to go!

Hmmm...go to H.S. graduation ceremony and get diploma...or go to CM. Hard choice. Since I live in Toledo, I might try to go in the morning for ERT, then stay till like 3-4, come back home, get ready. Then 7:30 go graduate, about 10 drive back to CP, ride coasters, then go to hotel room and sleep. Sounds like a plan. LoL. I'll try to make it.

You have to be a member of a recognzed coaster club (which can cost anywhere from $20-$50). I don't know if you would have enough time to get a membership card by June 7th. This is the day of CoasterMania, and there is exclusive riding time (ERT) in the morning from 7:30-9:30 before the park starts on Raptor, Mantis, and Blue Streak. There will be a Q&A session with the head honchos from CP, and after the park closes, there will be ERT on MF, Magnun, and WT from 11:00p.m.-1:00a.m.

I would think you'd be able to join Coasterbuzz Club ($20)and get your card in time, but I would do it soon as it's just a month away.

I ought to be going to CM.. I asked for the day off in March. This'll be my first CM.. the only trick is that 6/7 is OSU's last day of classes and I have exams the following Monday. I'll be missing a few review sessions to make it there.

I was super before Superstew was cool!

The CPlaya 100 schedule is still fluctuating....I'm trying to balance my desire to beef up my coaster count and visit new parks with time to relax (read:wave pool) and keep the total drive somewhere in the low 2000 mile range--especially since I'll be traveling alone.

Thursday's plan is pretty solid (Big Chief's, Little A-Merrick-A, SFGAM) as is Sunday and Monday (PKI/SFKK/HW)and maybe even Tuesday (SFStl/WOF) but Saturday is just a mess.

Buuuuut I do believe I'll get evening ERT for sure and just maybe some AM ride time.
