Dan, I thought I gave it to you last summer but I guess I forgot because you are right, they are still here. I am sure we will be in the same place at the same time sometime this year and you can get it. My first trip is May 14 and then as often as possible.
I have no idea how this CM will top last years.  None whatsoever.  Then again what am I thinking my PIC and I can do it easily.

My family will be making our annual trek to CP from Florida. Yes, Florida Parks (Orlando) can't hold a candle to CP! I'll be at CP from June 2 through June 8. My family is most interested in participating in the CoasterMania event. What do I have to do to become part of the fun?

Charlie

Check out the thread about it in the "General" section...it should tell you all you need to know, and if it doesn't, then you can ask it there. :)

I have to decide between coastermania and Timber's Fest.  Don't know if I can afford an overnight at both. Since it's a two hour drive for me, that would be a LOOOOONNG day.

I have a 3 hour drive, so you're telling ME about having a long day...:)

2.75 hours, all pretty much back country 2 lane roads ZZZZZZZZZZ. I always go down the day before CM to power ride Raptor, then up at 4am day of CM and don't get back to hotel til almost 2am the NEXT day. NO way would I even attempt on driving home that same night. For the past 3 CMs for me my day is at least 22 hours long :)
My FAVORITE special event at CP-totally!! :)
I love it and always have a BLAST! :)
2001 will be hard to top but I bet we try!!! ;)

I used to do the one day trip thing too but now I always go the day before. One of the years I did it in one day I left Columbus at 5:00am and, since it was so foggy on the way home, I got back here at 6:00am the next morning. Not fun.
I remember in 2000, my first CM, my brother was with me so we got a room at a hotel...and we crashed there, and I mean gone! When you stand still in line, and you swear that an inanimate object moves, you might be suffering from sleep deprivation. What's really bad, is that my friend never slept the night before, because he decided to pull an all-nighter. Let's just say that he was in worse shape then I was. :) We didn't wake up until after noon the next day. That was the fastest I've ever fallen asleep.

This year, my school is going the week before, so my friend and I are going to experiment with getting up at 3:00 am that day, and not go to sleep until around 4:00 a.m. the next day after going to CP...Something tells me I might fall asleep. I guess I'm going to cruise around GTTP and Coasterbuzz for a couple hours that morning and check the weather reports over and over like a paranoid mental patient making sure that the weather will be fine (or at least try to convince myself even though the map is all green...)

That drive home is going to be a doozy...I guess if you guys don't hear from me after CM, you'll know that one of us didn't drink enough Mt. Dew...Maybe I'll have to pick up some of that Red Bull, I hear it's packed with caffeine.

How many sea gulls is there at CP?

Question:

It says in the news section that ticket prices will be announced for non-season pass holders. Does this mean that there is no extra fee for season pass holders, or is it just a small fee.

I was told by CP there is no charge for the event if you have any Cedar Fair 2002 Season Passport (This Inculdes KBF, WOF, DP, MA, CP, and VF). The the charge for non passholders is $30 I belive.
