CoasterMania '02: Open to CoasterBuzz Club members

Many of you were wondering if you could get into CoasterMania next year with a CoasterBuzz Club membership. Well, you can! Details about CoasterMania obviously haven't been released yet, and probably won't be until spring, but rest assured, your membership card will be honored at registration next year.

It should be okay for CB Club members to attend because Coastermania is open to any and all coaster clubs or organizations.

Hey Joey, he just said that CP *confirmed* that Club CoasterBuzz members were allowed in. So whether you think they should or not is a moot point.

He DID imply that CP confirmed it though. Otherwise he wouldn't have posted it here. If he had not talked to them first, and we walked up at Coastermania with our membership cards, they would not immediately let us in just because we tell them it's a coaster club. I mean, if I went and printed up a membership card to "Natalie's Koaster Klub" really nice and got it laminated, they wouldn't have to accept that, right?

SO what I'm saying is that they DO have to RECOGNIZE us as a coaster club before they're gonna accept our cards, and that's what he was saying happened here.

Natalie, I don't understand your problem, but you must have one. You are always sarcastic in tone in your responses to every post I have here at GTTP and CB. WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU? If you have a problem with me, I suggest you work your way through it or let me know what is up?
My response to Jeff's post was exactly as putergeek stated. I was just stating that Coastermania is open to all coaster clubs and organizations in the US. I was only stating a fact. Thanks putergeek for truly understanding the post and for stating that fact to Ride of Steel (Natalie).

There was nothing sarcastic about what Natalie said...and Coastermania is only open to established coaster clubs. She was dead on and correct in every way.

Actually, Jeff HAS spoken to them. I asked him about CoasterMania and TimbersFest a few days back on Coasterbuzz and he was checking on it then.

And my picture...as for that...you see, I haven't had one on GTTP since I switched accounts, which was quite a long time ago. I do have one on Coasterbuzz still and have thought of uploading one to GTTP again, but just haven't gotten around to it. Not like it isn't well enough publicized on the Internet though, heh, I'm everywhere and it sucks... :oP

Ok...Simmer down Coaster Joey....Time to lighten up. Your post was off base. CP DOES NOT ALLOW JUST ANY COASTER CLUB MEMEBER to come to Coaster Mania.

At one time it was proposed by some that GTTP memebers be "allowed" to attend CoasterMania. Since we don't have a "membership" on this site this requeest was turned down by CP.

Just because YOU feel it is ok doesn't make it fact!

Natalie I guess if you like SROS so much, you are working at the wrong park in CP. As to being my nemesis here or at CB be my guest. I would love to debate issues with a 21 year old wet behind the ears kid. We can be EFL is you like and that is just fine with me.

As to Old Timer Tim I suggest you learn to read the posts here more closely. GTTP members would not be a coaster club or organization so they would not be entitled to admittance to Coastermania. So, Jeff's CoasterBuzz Club would be a coaster club and hence entitled to go to Coastermania. I am sure he did inquire and received approval as suggested.

I know Jeff understands well how things work and does extremely well in running the sites and will do so with the club. I say three cheers to Jeff!!! He has done more for coaster enthusiasts than anybody else in some time.

Joey, for someone slamming another about their age, you sure aren't acting older and wiser.

Truth be told, I wanted to get CB/GTTP people into CoasterMania last year, but it was no dice. So to clear up the speculation, at no time is anyone an automatic "in." That's why I asked, and they decided to accept the club as an "established" club. Ditto for Holiday World.

Thank you for completely taking the topic away from the original intent, to let people know that there's another club out there to join if you're looking for a way into CoasterMania.

Jeff, if you can get us into Timberfest as well, that would be excellent. I got my letter for ACE renewal, and was going to put a check into the mail, but if Timberfest is added, I may not renew my ACE membership.

Jeff you are right I should have acted better for my age than I did, but I had one miserable day yesterday and Natalie's smart-alecky posts didn't help. So, I apologize to Natalie for my posts and to the other GTTP members for my posts if they were offended. I am sorry Natalie for upsetting you. I do not wish to be your nemesis or enemy for life (EFL), but you do what you want. I will try to comport my behavior to the higher road from now on. Sorry for getting carried away everyone here at the GTTP boards!
