Try Lighthouse Point!

I want to, but it's just too damn expensive. The Maples is very inexpensive, very clean, and the friendliest place I have ever stayed. Not to mention Daisy :).

You just like it when Daisy follows you to your room, climbs into bed with you, and lets you rub her belly.

I formally apologize to any of the kids out there who were offended when I referred to my "package"....

lol! Lighthouse Point is not that expensive if you take advantage of the grill, micowave and coffee maker. You save a TON on food cost and parking is free. Not to mention you do not have to leave the park at the end of the night and are there before it even opens in the morning.

Lighthouse point is well over $200 per night some nights, and the Maples is 1/4 of that. I can bring a small grill if I want to. It was $58 a night for a cabin this weekend, that slept 6 people.

It's not in the park, but it sure is close. I also think its pretty nice to go back there mid-day and take a nap in the hammock away from the noise of CP.

I completely understand what you're saying and I'm not saying that LP is a bad place at all, but I really do love staying at the Maples. They're even putting some of my pictures up in some of the rooms :)

I may try that sometime, but being in the park 24/7 is something I enjoy. As long as I can afford it, I'll stay at LHP. When I go, LHP cabins/cottages are $175--early and late in the season.

I have to perform my mayoral duties, you know ;)

Haha, well the first thing you should do as mayor, is give Pointbuzz discounts. :)
